Cedar Ridge is her new series, and My Kind of Wonderful is the second novel. In the first one we got to love on Aiden Kincaid as he found his forever with Lily. But this time around we’re full on crushing on Hudson Kincaid (Hud), who’s half of a twin set. His brother Jacob has left Cedar Ridge at 18 and never looked back. Hudson is left with his part of the resort, familial responsibilities, his job as a cop, heading the resort’s security team and a lot of guilt. To say he’s got his plate full is an understatement. First, let me say this: I despise reading out of order. However, I did not know this was a series, nor did I know it was the fourth!!! book. So yes, some things were alluded to, and I kept wondering about other characters – and that proves, yet again, that a standalone that’s a part of a series is bullshit.

Sooooo….. turns out Ellis Leigh is awesome beyond what I thought I knew her awesomeness to be, and now that she’s concluded the Feral Breed boys’ stories, we get to have the other characters’ stories. This new series is Feral Breed Following.
And she kicks it off with Cahill from the Appalachian pack. Quick reminder, we met them first at a gathering… alpha Killian… rings a bell? Good.
The Appalachian pack is in a substantial debt to some wolfish version of a brute squad. when they left to find their abducted Omega, they left the pack with the ‘brute squad’s’ protection.
