Welcome to the Everywhere and Every Way blog tour. It’s my turn!!
Jennifer Probst is a writing machine and Everything and Every Way is her first title in The Billionaire Builders series.
So… let’s dive in, shall we?
I have major issues with the cover of this book. It has absolutely no connection to the characters, the settings or the plot. I know it’s not a real factor, and we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but come on!!!
Anyhow, getting to the story. Probst is introducing us to a broken family of three brothers who’s been amazingly close as teenagers and absolutely broken as adults, ever since their mother’s tragic death and many secrets surfacing.
Caleb Pierce has been working with his father, and the only one to not drift apart from what was left from the family, to take charge of the family business, a successful construction company. While trying to be as different as possible from his hard and demanding father, he’s also concerned that it already might be too late.
When his father passes away, his brothers return for the reading of the will to discover they must live together and turn a profit within a year to keep the company. Only, they each believe to have a different dream.
Caleb believes he’s got things under control after persuading his brothers to roll with the punches, only to have his biggest job pulled at the last minute, courtesy of Morgan – House Designer/House producer extraordinaire for the rich and famous. She’s gorgeous, talented, and totally pissing Caleb off with her sneaky ways.
The story is pretty light and fun, it’s very sexy and at times a little rushed. Both Caleb and Morgan have things to prove, both to themselves and to others, and they both are fighting for their future and their passion.
I’d like to see where the series goes, and how Caleb’s brothers reconcile their situations and get their HEA, so I’m going to read the next installments. I would have liked a little more sophistication and a little less predictability for this one. I know Probst can deliver.
Still – it’s Jennifer Probst. I’m recommending this sweet story.
Hot on the heels of her beloved Marriage to a Billionaire novels, New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Probst nails it with the first in an all-new sexy romance series featuring red-hot contractor siblings who give the Property Brothers a run for their money!
Ever the responsible eldest brother, Caleb Pierce started working for his father’s luxury contracting business at a young age, dreaming of one day sitting in the boss’s chair. But his father’s will throws a wrench in his plans by stipulating that Caleb share control of the family business with his two estranged brothers.
Things only get more complicated when demanding high-end home designer Morgan hires Caleb to build her a customized dream house that matches her specifications to a T—or she’ll use her powerful connections to poison the Pierce brothers’ reputation. Not one to ignore a challenge, Caleb vows to get the job done—if only he can stop getting distracted by his new client’s perfect…amenities.
But there’s more to icy Morgan than meets the eye. And Caleb’s not the only one who knows how to use a stud-finder. In fact, Morgan is pretty sure she’s found hers—and he looks quite enticing in a hard hat. As sparks fly between Morgan and Caleb despite his best intentions not to mix business and pleasure, will she finally warm up and help him lay the foundation for everlasting love?
