Captivated – A Red Hot Cosmo Read

I loved Tiffany Reisz’s first Red Hot Cosmo Read, and immediately requested Captivated when it became available.

I was not disappointed.

Double the passion and seduction as New York Times bestselling author Megan Hart and international bestselling author Tiffany Reisz weave two provocative tales about power, bad-boy lovers and secret desires!

LETTING GO by Megan Hart
Colleen goes to the same bar every night and orders the same drink: a whiskey, neat. She doesn’t drink it, though. Jesse the bartender notices the beautiful, sad woman who keeps to herself. Until one night when she lets go and lets him in. And after that, Jesse has only one mission–to show her one night is only the beginning.

SEIZE THE NIGHT by Tiffany Reisz
Four years ago, a night of forbidden passion between Remi and Julien, the heirs of two powerful and competitive horse-racing families, led to a feud that is threatening to ruin both farms. Now Remi must find Julien again, but when she does, her need for Julien is just as strong and just as forbidden.

LETTING GO by Megan Hart

I loved Jesse’s character. I know Colleen is the one going through the important change in the story, she’s realizing who she is, learns to accept herself and not be influenced by what others say, especially out of their own insecurities. But I absolutely loved Jesse. He’s determined, smart and will make you swoon like nothing else matters in the world.

I really enjoyed this novella, mostly for a surprise I never expected in it. The way to get both characters when they end up is sexy, intriguing and clever.

I’m going to check out Hart’s other works for sure, after reading this one.

My rating: 4star

About Megan Hart

Megan Hart has written in almost every genre of romantic fiction, including historical, contemporary, romantic suspense, romantic comedy, futuristic, fantasy and perhaps most notably, erotic. She also writes non-erotic fantasy and science fiction, as well as continuing to occasionally dabble in horror.

SEIZE THE NIGHT by Tiffany Reisz

I don’t think I can ever NOT love Tiffany’s stories. Remi and Julien are both adorable and fantastic, but what made this story was absolutely, definitely and unequivocally – Merrick. That man is like Nora Sutherlin in a male version, with bits of Kingsley channeled. This story, as all of Reisz’s, is smart, heartbreaking (a little) and then a definite feel good, mixed with brilliance and a devious sting operation.

Yes, Original Sinners fans will get a kick out of this story, but any other reader with appreciation to smart writing, wicket wit and red-heads will abso-freakin-lutely love this story.

My rating: 5

About Tiffany Reisz

Tiffany Reisz lives with her boyfriend (a reformed book reviewer) and two cats (one good, one evil). She graduated with a B.A. in English from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky and is making both her parents and her professors proud by writing BDSM erotica under her real name. She has five piercings, one tattoo, and has been arrested twice.

When not under arrest, Tiffany enjoys Latin Dance, Latin Men, and Latin Verbs. She dropped out of a conservative southern seminary in order to pursue her dream of becoming a smut peddler. Johnny Depp’s aunt was her fourth grade teacher. Her first full-length novel THE SIREN was inspired by a desire to tie up actor Jason Isaacs (on paper). She hopes someday life will imitate art (in bed).

If she couldn’t write, she would die.
