Conspiring (This #2.5) – J.B. McGee

Conspiring (This #2.5)Conspiring by J.B. McGee
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Conspiring is a nice little novella complimenting the This series. It tells the story of Ian and Veronica and how they're little scheme came to be.
Only we don't really get a scheme, and their story is very real. Made me almost feel sorry for Veronica, she seems actually human, especially after she's made up to be the villain in the last novel, Broken.

I did enjoy seeing hoe McGee's writing has grown since she started this series, and hope for a little more carefully combed editing job from someone.

The only real issue I have is to time the chapters. Up until where Ian's pov started it all made sense. But the last chapters in his pov were a jump in time and things made sense only after reading well into the chapters.
