Warm Bodies – Isaac Marion

Warm BodiesWarm Bodies by Isaac Marion
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is by far, the weirdest book I've read. Probably ever.

R is a zombie, undead, ghoul, whatever you want to name it, who's part of a group of zombies feeding on a human group. R sees one of the humans, Julie, and decides he can't kill her. He instead saves her.

Thus begins the story of how the zombie plague will be cured. Julie and R form an unusual bond, which in turn makes R force himself to change, to care, to want.

There are a lot of funny moments, and a lot of sweet moment, and a shit ton of weird moments.

Because of the nature of the story, told from a rotting corpse's point of view, I love the fact it was made into a movie. It should be told visually.
